Our company represents the South Korean HPC Corporation, Ltd., which is formed by engineers who have worked in the South Korean iron & steel industry form many years in the field of hot rolling, iron& steel making & mechanical equipment manufacturing and cooperates with them in Türkiye and abroad.
HPC is an engineering company who is particularly specialized in hot rolling in the iron and steel industry. It works in design, manufacturing, installation and plant commissioning and gives consulting services. In particular, based on its experience and know-how, HPC is able to prepare operation and control plans, which are often difficult to be provided by equipment manufacturers.
The entire team, including the CEO, has more than 30 years of industry experience. Although the company is not old, HPC has been involved in many plant installations and refurbishments in iron and steel mills producing flat products in Korea and has installed two accelerated cooling facilities.
Their special expertise is in flat plate rolling processes. In particular, they have know - how and patents on various leveling and cooling units (levelers and accelerated cooling facilities).
They have succeeded in the localization (by increasing the share of domestic supply) of many accelerated cooling & straightening facilities in hot strip and plate rolling mills, mainly for POSCO and HYUNDAI, by providing technical support to SMEs in Korea.
Likewise, they have carried out the complete installation and localization of the POSCO heavy plate mill accelerated cooling plant.
